Scope & Responsibilities

The Senior Associate’s primary responsibilities are to provide tactical creative, content and production support across the EG, on client teams, and on internal functional teams.

In this role, you will:

• Design and produce high quality PowerPoint decks and presentation materials that meet brand and client standards.
• Create visual concepts, diagrams, and frameworks that simplify complex information and communicate ideas effectively.
• Ensure consistency in visual style, formatting, and storytelling across presentations and client materials.
• Support client and internal teams in preparing presentations for meetings, workshops, and major deliverables.
• Support Art Directors and Graphic Designers in organizing, developing and producing creative products as assigned.
• Design ads, banners and social copy.
• Support Purple’s marketing and new business teams with event branding, social copy,  attendee/speaker backgrounders, presentation decks, and other duties. 
• Support team leaders with the scheduling and facilitating of virtual and in-person meetings and events, drafting agendas, and follow-up notes.
• Contribute to Purple’s growth and success, including conducting new business research and assisting with the drafting of new business and marketing-related content.
• Be responsible for proofing and trafficking creative assets to paid media vendors.
• Assist with the development of content plans and track internal / external approvals.
• Assist with the development of creative workback plans.
• Demonstrate an ongoing awareness and practical understanding of emerging creative technologies, especially AI.
• Contribute to additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 3+ years of experience in presentation development, communications, design, consulting support, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and familiarity with presentation best practices, including layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to translate complex information and ideas into clear and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for client audiences. Exposure to consulting, agency, corporate communications, or client services environments highly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of content creation and distribution best practices.
• Familiarity with organic and paid social media strategies.
• Strong attention to detail, including formatting consistency, visual alignment and quality control. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Problem solver.
• Basic understanding of digital content production processes.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organization, client service and communication skills. 
• Exceptional time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who is polished and professional.

Work Location

This is a full-time position based in our Alexandria, VA office. Purple Strategies offers a hybrid model and seeks employees who are comfortable working in the office three days a week.
