As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will assist in preparing design drawings and specifications for all elements of building electrical system design, with a significant focus on electrical power and lighting design. Most work will consist of 120/208V and 277/480V three phase power systems, and will involve designing power distribution and circuiting for commercial, educational, institutional and/or multi-family residential facilities. Successful candidates will work closely with talented senior designers and engineers in a close mentor/mentee environment. Entry Level electrical engineers will be taught how to read and interpret the National Electrical Code, develop and perform building load calculations, design principles for circuiting of lighting, receptacles and equipment in the building and gain an understanding of how buildings are designed, are constructed, and how they work. Responsibilities and learning experience will include: assisting in field surveys of existing conditions, performing load calculations, detailed CAD and REVIT drafting, design and specification of appropriate equipment and systems (under the supervision of senior staff), and working with a team of mechanical and plumbing/fire protection engineers to provide a coordinated and complete design. The position will also include providing construction administration services, such as submittal and shop drawings reviews and construction observation surveys, for projects in construction. The Product Research & Design Manager designs new products and modifications to existing products and researches and conducts experiments in advanced technologies to drive Encore toward the future state of events. This position reports to Director, Product Management. Key Job Responsibilities Research Evaluate existing products qualified by product management team and leadership against product ecosystem, including logistics, device operation, content management, human resources, and finance. Conduct research on technologies, systems, protocols, and trends as required by the business. Gather and report research; provide analysis of research as required by the director. Study emergent technologies and deep engineering concepts. Explore technologies through experimentation; analyze and report findings. Design/Engineering Evaluate design of existing qualified products against Human Centered Design standards inclusive of form, UX, UI and event ecosystem. Provide analysis as required. Engage in product modification and new product design outputting visualizations (such as technical drawings, schematics, operational code blocks, interactive mockups, infographics and flow charts, renderings, and animations), writing and narratives (such as technical documentation, conceptual case studies, and insights), and fabrication (to create printed or machined prototypes, printed circuit boards, etc.). Position Description:

This position is based out of our Point Pleasant NJ office. We design buildings. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will assist in preparing design drawings and specifications for all elements of building electrical system design, with a significant focus on electrical power and lighting design. Most work will consist of 120/208V and 277/480V three phase power systems, and will involve designing power distribution and circuiting for commercial, educational, institutional and/or multi-family residential facilities. Successful candidates will work closely with talented senior designers and engineers in a close mentor/mentee environment. Entry Level electrical engineers will be taught how to read and interpret the National Electrical Code, develop and perform building load calculations, design principles for circuiting of lighting, receptacles and equipment in the building and gain an understanding of how buildings are designed, are constructed, and how they work.

Responsibilities and learning experience will include: assisting in field surveys of existing conditions, performing load calculations, detailed CAD and REVIT drafting, design and specification of appropriate equipment and systems (under the supervision of senior staff), and working with a team of mechanical and plumbing/fire protection engineers to provide a coordinated and complete design. The position will also include providing construction administration services, such as submittal and shop drawings reviews and construction observation surveys, for projects in construction.
