• B.S. degree in structural engineering or similar*
• 8–15+ years in structural design engineering for power generation or heavy industrial*
• Background in EPC project environments*
• Design experience with reinforced concrete, structural steel.*
• Experience with structural analysis software (GTStrudl, ANSYS, etc.)*
• Ensure compliance with AISC, ACI, ASCE, and local codes*
• Background in mentoring junior engineers*
• PE License a plus, not required

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Lead Structural Design Engineer for simple cycle power generation projects *
• Create and review calculations, drawings, and models; lead design reviews and technical discussions*
• Mentor junior structural engineers*
• Assist construction with field issues and design clarifications*
• Ensure constructability and safety of all designs*
• Support procurement with material specifications*
• Participate in project scheduling and constructability reviews

Skills needed:• Strong knowledge of the International Building Code and related standards (ASCE, AISC,ACI).• Proficiency in structural analysis software and interpreting results.• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit & Navisworks).• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
