What You'll Do: What You'll Do The Criteo Product Design department is composed of skilled teams of UX Designers, UI Designers, Researchers, and Writers. As a UX Designer on the Retail Media team, you'll help craft user experiences that enable brand marketers and retailers to set up and deliver relevant and insightful advertising experiences for their customers. Present design work to stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale and value behind design decisions. Provide detailed design artifacts (user flows, mockups, prototypes) and support to engineers in order to guide feature implementation, ensure UX consistency, and adherence to Criteo's design vision and standards. Contribute to product and design roadmap planning, ensuring that priorities are well-defined and closely aligned with the overarching business objectives. Stay informed about developments in the digital advertising industry and emerging design trends to ensure our designs remain innovative and competitive. Who You Are: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or related field. 2+ years of professional UX design experience. Proficiency in Figma. Capable of crafting and delivering designs for a comprehensive product with complex workflows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases. Possesses exceptional communication, listening, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Proactive and resourceful problem-solver. About the Role As UX Designer/Researcher , you'll play a key role in crafting exceptional user experiences that make complex financial processes simple and intuitive. You'll work cross-functionally to understand user needs, design solutions, and validate designs through research. This role requires strong design thinking, research skills, and a passion for creating products that users love. What You'll Do User Research & Insights – Conduct user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and field studies to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points Design System Development – Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across products Wireframing & Prototyping – Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and test ideas with users, leveraging AI tools to accelerate the design process Information Architecture – Design user flows, site maps, and navigation structures that make complex workflows simple and logical Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into compelling user experiences Usability Testing – Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement Data-Driven Design – Use analytics, heatmaps, and user feedback to inform design decisions and measure the impact of design changes Customer Journey Mapping – Create detailed journey maps and personas to guide product development and ensure user-centered design Design Reviews & Iteration – Present design concepts to stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate based on user needs and business goals AI-Enhanced Design Process – Utilize AI tools for rapid prototyping, content generation, user research synthesis, and design iteration to improve efficiency and explore creative solutions What You Bring 3-5 years of experience in UX design and user research with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, and prototyping tools such as Lovable Experience with user research methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics tools Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy Knowledge of React MUI and understanding of technical constraints and possibilities Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate design decisions to various stakeholders Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate research insights into actionable design recommendations Familiarity with AI design tools and technologies for prototyping, content generation, and design optimization Bachelor's degree in Design, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred Previous experience in Logistics or Freight Tech preferred  Why Join Upwell? The Criteo Product Design department is composed of skilled teams of UX Designers, UI Designers, Researchers, and Writers. As a UX Designer on the Retail Media team, you'll help craft user experiences that enable brand marketers and retailers to set up and deliver relevant and insightful advertising experiences for their customers. The UX Design role is pivotal in understanding how our retailer, brand, and agency users behave and how best to support them in achieving their marketing goals.

  • Own and drive projects through the entire design process - from initial ideation and validation, to design execution, through to feature implementation into the product.
  • Ensure each project deliverable aligns with client needs, adheres to technical constraints, and delivers business results.
  • Work closely with UX Research and Product Marketing teams to coordinate and implement user research initiatives, ensuring that insights from user feedback inform product decisions.
  • Transform abstract ideas into tangible, valuable user experiences to foster alignment among stakeholders and provide clear direction.
  • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, marketing, commercial teams, and fellow product designers, fostering clear communication throughout all project stages.
  • Present design work to stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale and value behind design decisions.
  • Provide detailed design artifacts (user flows, mockups, prototypes) and support to engineers in order to guide feature implementation, ensure UX consistency, and adherence to Criteo's design vision and standards.
  • Contribute to product and design roadmap planning, ensuring that priorities are well-defined and closely aligned with the overarching business objectives.
  • Stay informed about developments in the digital advertising industry and emerging design trends to ensure our designs remain innovative and competitive.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional UX design experience.
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Capable of crafting and delivering designs for a comprehensive product with complex workflows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases.
  • Possesses exceptional communication, listening, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and resourceful problem-solver.
  • Ad tech, e-commerce, or B2B experience a plus.
