Job Description
- Lead teams in the creation of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of a building or facility.
- Strategize with the BIM-VDC teams to facilitate the best flow of information and the setting up of models to support delivery
- Oversee collision detection across multiple disciplines.
- Direct modeling efforts for production of walk-through videos
- Lead teams in leveraging Business Integration Modeling (BIM) to optimize designs for client requirements at the appropriate levels of development (LOD)
- Oversee the development of 3D BIM models up to an LOD 400, or as needed, for handover to construction and fabrication teams.
- Use 4D and 5D functionality to analyze different construction sequences and techniques to optimize cost and schedule.
- Oversee the adaptation of BIM models to use in other software, such as programs for fluid flow analysis or energy modeling.
- Lead teams in the integration with a range of software (Autodesk Fabrication, Bentley, SketchUp etc.) to facilitate design understanding.
- Oversee the development and adoption of the BIM Execution Plan for project team.
- Supervise the drawing set up for project team.
- Develop strategies to ensure the project team have necessary set up and processes on hand.
- Optimize the design Studio's development of Revit and AutoCAD Drafting/design in the construction industry, including drafting all elements of a building such as structural (Primary and secondary), architectural, and specialized mechanical and plumbing elements.
- Work with different architectural typologies including healthcare buildings, commercial buildings, data centers, airports, recreation and leisure.
- Design mechanical systems in multiple industries such as healthcare, data centers, corporate offices, aviation etc.
- Utilize complex construction project delivery methods, construction methods and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to the discipline.
- Communicate with a non-technical audience regarding technical design build issues.
- Building Information Modeling, including model set-up, management, process workflows, Revit Family (RFA) creation, technical schedule, and specification integration.
- Oversee the generation of a 3D model of piping, plumbing and/or ductwork systems in compliance with building codes, construction standards, contract documents, and instructions from the project leadership.
- Develop the team to ensure the documentation of all components and systems.
- Direct the efforts to overlay piping, plumbing, and/or ductwork systems with other trades.
- Supervise the re-route of piping, plumbing, and/or ductwork as required.
- Produce sign-off record drawings.
- Contribute to the desired safety and work culture of the organization.

What we're looking for in you
- Bachelors in Architecture related field of study required
- 60 months of experience as an Associate Architect, Digital Designer, or similar occupation in the construction industry
- 60 months required Drafting/design in the construction industry, including drafting all elements of a building such as structural (primary and secondary), architectural, and specialized mechanical and plumbing elements
- 60 months required Complex construction project delivery methods, construction methods and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to the discipline.
- 60 months required Drafting mechanical and plumbing systems for building design Revit, AutoCad, Autodesk Fabrication, or Navisworks, Bentley, SketchUp
- 60 months required Designing mechanical systems in multiple industries such as healthcare, data centers, corporate offices, aviation, etc.
- 60 months required Working with different architectural typologies including healthcare buildings, commercial buildings, data centers, airports, recreation and leisure
- 60 months required Communicating with non-technical audience regarding technical design build issues
- 60 months required Building Information Modeling, including specialized knowledge of model set-up, management, process workflows, Revit Family (RFA) creation, technical schedule and specification integration
- This role can be performed remote, hybrid, or in-office, based out of Concord, California office

Pay Range: $185,910.00 per Year
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
