Also, responsible for working with Product Engineering to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance of circuits you design. Will also work with Process integration and transistor modeling personnel in designing the circuits to be used on Micron's next groundbreaking process node. Responsibilities: Leading innovative design and development of high speed integrated circuits Development and optimization of circuit models and simulations Mental agility is a must for a IO Circuit Design Engineer as we work with all product types (commodity, mobile, graphics) and product teams in parallel with silicon validation efforts Minimum Qualifications: 5 or more years in analog design and simulation experience required 5 or more years in High speed IO circuit design include receiver and transmitter circuit design experience Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction) Demonstrated ability of at least 5 years with circuit verification and optimization including layout verification and parasitic extractions of the circuits Strong communication skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to other design peers both verbally and written Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability of 7+ years in IO Design with a Masters or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related technical field. Use of both analog and digital CMOS design skills needed to work on the high speed IO circuits you would be responsible for. Also, responsible for working with Product Engineering to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance of circuits you design. Will also work with Process integration and transistor modeling personnel in designing the circuits to be used on Micron's next groundbreaking process node.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading innovative design and development of high speed integrated circuits

  • Development and optimization of circuit models and simulations

  • Mental agility is a must for a IO Circuit Design Engineer as we work with all product types (commodity, mobile, graphics) and product teams in parallel with silicon validation efforts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years in analog design and simulation experience required

  • 5 or more years in High speed IO circuit design include receiver and transmitter circuit design experience

  • Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction)

  • Demonstrated ability of at least 5 years with circuit verification and optimization including layout verification and parasitic extractions of the circuits

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to other design peers both verbally and written

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability of 7+ years in IO Design with a Masters or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related technical field.

  • Demonstrated ability in mentoring and coaching engineers

  • Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques preferred

  • Demonstrated ability with PERL/Python (or other scripting languages), a plus
