Responsibilities: Work closely with other PD engineers to develop ML-based tools in various physical design areas such as synthesis, PnR, timing closure and power grid construction and analysis Extend existing ML systems and implement new algorithms Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods Run machine learning tests and experiments on chip design databases Perform statistical analysis and fine-tune models using test results Experience & Qualifications: Currently pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in EE/ECE/CE/CS Experience with algorithms, data structures, and software development in Python and C/C++ Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms Experience in solving problems with Machine Learning models Some knowledge of VLSI design fundamentals Strong problem solving skills Exposure to synthesis, place and route or timing analysis a plus Compensation for all interns at Tenstorrent ranges from $50/hr - $70/hr including base and variable compensation targets. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design teams and delivering successful products. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX/UI design, with a focus on mobile and web applications. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centered approach to design. Preferred: Experience in the Creator Economy.
