The Opportunity:
The Creative Design Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and development of the Graphic Design and Visual Design teams within Creative Services. Unlike the Creative Director and Art Director roles, which focus on creative vision and execution, this position is centered on team management, workflow optimization, and ensuring designers have the resources and guidance to succeed. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency while upholding brand integrity. 

What you will do at VeSync:

    • Lead, mentor, and empower the in-house design team, fostering a supportive and creative environment. 
    • Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand standards and company objectives. 
    • Oversee the review and approval of design work, providing constructive feedback to maintain high-quality output. 
    • Collaborate with Creative Services leadership, marketing, and product teams to allocate design resources effectively. 
    • Ensure adherence to branding standards across all visual assets, maintaining consistency in messaging and execution. 
    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and external creative partners to support design needs. 
    • Work with Creative Services management to refine workflows, implement process improvements, and maintain an organized digital asset library. 
    • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and skill development for the design team, organizing training sessions to enhance team capabilities. 
    • Conduct performance evaluations, track KPIs, and provide career development support for direct reports. 
    • Plan and execute team-building initiatives to strengthen collaboration and engagement within the department. 
    • Step in as needed to provide hands-on design support during peak workload periods. 

What you bring to the role:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
    • 6+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. 
    • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, digital, and print design, with a focus on team-led projects. 
    • Proven ability to manage and mentor designers, fostering growth and ensuring high-quality creative execution. 
    • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and project management tools such as Monday.com
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and executive teams to align design work with business goals. 
    • Familiarity with prepress techniques, production processes, and digital asset management systems like Canto. 
    • Ability to adapt to evolving brand strategies and industry trends while maintaining efficiency and quality.
