About The Position The Senior Financial Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing and analyzing transactions impacting Ameren subsidiary financial statements. Key responsibilities include: Prepare external regulatory filings with the SEC, FERC and State Public Service Commissions Prepare, review, analyze and interpret complex accounting, financial and statistical data Produce and review internal financial/operational reports Proactively and independently research, report and propose Company policy on financial and reporting matters, including monitoring the activities of financial and regulatory reporting and accounting standard setting agencies. The ideal candidate should be based within the territory and be willing to travel within it. We are currently seeking a Clinical Genomic Specialist (CGS) to join our oncology sales team! The CGS is responsible for increasing the number of Hereditary Cancer test samples sent to Natera within their territory. This role will primarily focus on the Genetic Counselor call point within Cancer Centers. The Clinical Genomic Specialist will collaborate closely with oncology team peers to drive unit pull-through across the system, engaging with specialties such as Oncology and Surgical Oncology. Additionally, the CGS will play a key role in securing blood draw agreements and facilitating EMR (Electronic Medical Record) integration to optimize success. QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor of Science degree is required; a background in nursing or related healthcare fields is preferred. Minimum of three years of physician sales experience in the diagnostic laboratory industry, preferably in a genetics laboratory. Background in medical or biological sciences, with clinical diagnostics experience in oncology preferred. Strong market knowledge and experience selling to OB/GYNs, MFMs, or oncologists is highly preferred. Proven track record of success in establishing new markets, launching new products, and driving rapid revenue growth. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com. About The Position

The Senior Financial Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing and analyzing transactions impacting Ameren subsidiary financial statements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare external regulatory filings with the SEC, FERC and State Public Service Commissions

  • Prepare, review, analyze and interpret complex accounting, financial and statistical data

  • Produce and review internal financial/operational reports

  • Proactively and independently research, report and propose Company policy on financial and reporting matters, including monitoring the activities of financial and regulatory reporting and accounting standard setting agencies.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, procedures and controls.

  • May review work prepared by contract employees.

  • May prepare or assist with the preparation of executive-level presentations.

  • Expected to perform core responsibilities and monitor risks given general direction.

  • May prepare and deliver department presentations.

  • Perform other special financial projects as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university required. CPA also required. Master's Degree preferred. Three or more years of accounting experience with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards and methods required. Required reporting experience (e.g. SEC and FERC) preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify, analyze and research financial issues required. Strong oral communication and writing skills required. Demonstrated decision-making skills and ability to work independently required. Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

Compensation Range:

$88,500.00 - $137,200.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
