Inspects the shred heads and assists KD and the Operators when needed. Performs Knockdown breaks on some of the lines. Manage trim usage and incorporates trim into applicable products. Be able to accurately calculate pounds' usage required to satisfy orders by also taking into account trim usage. Facilitate quick changeovers by cleaning, emptying trays and tubs, and assisting all areas on the line where needed. Complete sanitation of production lines for both midweek sanitations and full cleanups. Position will also assist in preventative maintenance on equipment. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Bishop Spencer is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) that is passionate about patient care, helping others and providing a superior quality of care! Bishop Spencer Place is Kansas City's premier non-profit Life Care retirement community and a proud member of the Saint Luke's Health System. The Shift: This is a full-time position: Monday-Friday (6:30 am to 7:00 pm) and alternating Saturday and Sunday (6:30 am to 7:00 pm).

Our CNA's partner with our licensed nursing staff to plan, develop, organize, and carryout resident care plans. Duties include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities
  • Providing resident care and reporting resident information/needs to charge nurse
  • Answering resident calls and requests for assistance
  • Serving food and beverages to ensure proper resident nutrition
  • Assisting residents in mobility and transport activities
  • Changing bed linens and ensuring a clean and hygienic living environment
