Effectively read, understand and extract vital information from detailed batch records in written and electronic forms. Job Summary

Responsible for packing finished pouched materials and assisting with the preparation, production and packaging of blend materials. Maintain equipment and manufacturing cleanliness.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities (not restrictive)

  • Assisting with the screening, blending and packaging of a variety of amino acids, vitamins and minerals, including those which are allergenic
  • Responsible to follow the procedures for the preparation of blends, completion of blends as well as packaging of pouches.
  • Proper cleaning of manufacturing equipment and production floor as well as assisting with routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment as requested by the Operator.
  • Operation of equipment ( case taper, case coder, checkweigher set up, conveyor adjustment, inkjet coder, label machine) to include; prep, clean, operate, as well as performing minor repairs.
  • Ensure that work procedures are being followed in a consistent manner (safety, quality, GMP)
  • Understand how to use the weigh scales and checkweigher properly.
  • Responsbile for filling out paper reports correctly and clearly.
  • Possess knowledge of batch recording and material handling procedures.
  • Ability to verify the accuracy of materials and procedures used in the manufacturing of finished goods.
  • Be able to perform all tasks on the line in a proper and efficient manner.
  • Effectively read, understand and extract vital information from detailed batch records in written and electronic forms. Utilize this information to execute proper work instructions using the DQS system.
  • Responsible for operating and monitoring all processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensures proper cleaning, packaging and material inspection per Standard Operating Procedures.
