Design Architect Atlanta, GA | On-Site role Full-Time | $70 $80K, depending on experience Summary:
- The Design Architect is responsible for developing detailed construction documents and technical drawings for commercial architectural projects. *
- This role works closely with project managers, project architects, and consultants to translate design concepts into accurate, coordinated construction documentation using Revit. *
- The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Revit and has a strong understanding of commercial building systems, codes, and construction processes.
- Develop and produce detailed construction documents and drawing sets using Revit for commercial projects.*
- Translate conceptual designs into coordinated architectural plans, sections, elevations, and details.*
- Assist project architects and project managers with design development and documentation throughout project phases.*
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, and other consulting disciplines.*
- Maintain Revit models and ensure drawing accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.*
- Review drawings for constructability, code compliance, and completeness.*
- Incorporate redlines and revisions from project leadership into drawing sets.*
- Assist in preparing permit and construction document packages.*
- Support project teams during the design development and construction documentation phases.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture*
- 5 plus years of experience creating construction documents for commercial/retail or similar projects *
- Revit proficiency
- AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative proficiency*
- Masters Degree in Architecture*
- Professional Licensure
