As the dedicated designer, you will shape the entire user experience and interface whilst building a comprehensive design system from the ground up. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on how developers interact with our platform. Key Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end design process for our developer platform, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity designs and implementation guidelines Build and maintain our Developer Platform Design System, creating a unified design language that adheres to Government Digital Service Standards Develop essential design resources including component libraries, templates, pattern libraries, and documentation to support development teams in implementation Work closely with product and technical teams to ensure designs are feasible, maintainable, and meet both user needs and technical requirements Establish and document design standards, best practices, and guidelines specific to developer-focused interfaces Manage the design system's evolution, including updates, improvements, and maintenance of documentation Stay current with developer experience design trends and government digital standards to continuously enhance our platform You will be part of a wider product team while having autonomy over the design direction. Job Summary
Restore is looking for a Director of Product & UX who operates at the intersection of technology and health and wellness; spearheading organizational, operational, and technological change. This role will help transform Restore from a retail-first wellness brand to a digital-first health innovator. Our vision is to provide digital health experiences like telemedicine and health coaching that complement the services we provide in our retail locations to better help our clients achieve their health goals and improve their health outcomes. As the Director of Product & UX, you’ll help build a new Customer Experience team within Marketing that will combine innovation, user experience, and product development skillsets to bring to life our goal of becoming a technology-enabled health brand with a seamless, integrated experience in-store, at-home, at-work and online. The Director of Product & UX will manage a team of product managers and experienced designers with direct ownership of Restore’s mobile app, website and retail experience. 
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, user experience design, innovation, or corporate strategy roles, driving digital transformation and delivering world-class experiences
  • Referenceable portfolio of digital experiences/products that drove consumer engagement, behavior and loyalty, as well as experience designing artificial intelligence-powered experiences 
  • Referenceable success designing market and user experience research to inform business strategy, product strategy and/or experience strategy
  • Experience developing and executing the strategy and roadmap for complex software products with both consumer and back office touchpoints
  • Ability to effectively codify and communicate business, user experience and product requirements, creating a bridge to technology implementation and engineering teams
  • Experience in creating processes and driving solutions that continually improve the customer experience and support a customer-first mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in an innovative, startup-like, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute
  • Experience in leading teams through an agile/scrum process
  • Demonstrable success in managing and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization vertically and horizontally
