Solid understanding of sheet metal design for manufacturability. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with medium voltage switchgear or low voltage switchgear, utility systems, or the power industry is preferred. Exposure to sheet metal design is preferred. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro E; Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience is a plus. Knowledge of IEEE/ANSI C37.20 and UL891/1558 design guidelines and NFPA70E are desirable. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
