Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize mission planning systems for space systems. You'll develop your skills in developing ground systems while gaining experience with delivering sustained, reliable GPS capabilities to America's warfighters, our allies, and civil users. Grow your skills in systems design as you understand client needs, assess and understand legacy systems to develop an advanced technology solution for a ground system.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with performing systems engineering for satellite systems or ground systems

  • 5+ years of experience with requirements development in space or ground systems development

  • Experience in integration and test on space or ground systems

  • Experience with using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines

  • Ability to analyze customer system requirements and translate into deliverable system functional requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, and take initiative to complete complex tasks

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies

  • Experience with Confluence or JIRA

  • Experience in working with software factories or DecvSecOps pipelines

  • Experience with design on space or airborne modules, sub-systems or full systems

  • Knowledge of GPS satellite system hardware or software

  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
