The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. CUS affiliate faculty pay is normally paid at $1,000 per credit hour. However, the University will decide if and how the course will be delivered based on the number of students or type of program. In cases where there is not full enrollment CCU reserves the right to pay courses or on a per student basis that could be at a pro-rated basis or a flat rate based on the nature of the program and enrollment. For example, pay rates for individual music lessons, educational programs, and lab courses programs may vary. Adjunct/Affiliate faculty are contracted on an as-needed basis and are not eligible for participation in most employer-sponsored benefits.
