The Electrical Assembly Lead for Convergix Life Science Division with North America is responsible for coordinating the activities of Electrical Technicians to carry out work in accordance with project deadlines and quality standards. Ability to work to technical drawings and parts lists Knowledge of PLCs 5+ years manufacturing experience in electrical assembly or other relevant industry Ideally a background in industrial automation Supervisory or mentorship experience Clear communication skills for update of project tasks Willing and able to travel to customer sites both nationally and internationally Effective interpersonal relationship skills to create a positive and productive team-oriented environment with all departments A proactive and flexible approach to work and be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities Completed apprenticeship in related field Basic machine tool operation knowledge Five (5+) years' experience preferred Reliable transportation and an ability to travel; although this position is focused on local clients and minimal travel is required, you should have the ability to travel within US and International Life science industry standards, UL, CE and specific customer requirements Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk and hear.
