RESPONSIBILITIES: The person hired will become part of an interdisciplinary academic unit with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our political science undergraduate program as well as a new MA program in Media Studies. The normal teaching load is three courses per quarter. Responsibilities will also include advising undergraduate political science majors. A strong commitment to exemplary teaching at the undergraduate level, scholarship/research activity, and good interpersonal and collegial skills are expected. RESPONSIBILITIES: The person hired will become part of an interdisciplinary academic unitwith a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. A successful candidate will have teaching and research interests in public policy/public law, preferably with a focus on digital governance and law. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our political science undergraduate program as well as a new MA program in Media Studies.The normal teaching load is three courses per quarter. Responsibilities will also include advising undergraduate political science majors. A strong commitment to exemplary teaching at the undergraduate level, scholarship/research activity, and good interpersonal and collegial skills are expected. 

THE UNIVERSITY: Louisiana Tech is a selective admissions university and offers a broad range of fully accredited undergraduate degrees in a variety of majors and doctoral programs in areas of specified expertise.
