Refresh outdated or deprecated equipment that has reached its end-of-life cycle. Ensure hardware asset records are updated to maintain data integrity. Provide white-glove service to help set up laptops for new onboarding employees. Demonstrate a consistently positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers. This includes being patient, empathetic, and courteous, even in challenging situations. Primary duties include basic build, prep, and pack of computers and computer products. Ensure quality and consistency between units. Move system components in and out of the assigned area per guidelines. Verify the parts ordered for repair or utilized in the new build are the correct SKU and quantity prior to receiving; communicate any discrepancies to the lead build technician or the department manager in a timely manner. Properly clean and pack finished computers in boxes and stack them on a pallet according to instructions and standards. Assemble accessory kits with the proper components as listed in the guidelines for that model system. Other related duties and tasks as assigned by management.
