The Sechrest Gallery offers a wide variety of exhibits throughout the year. The student assistant will assist the Director of the Sechrest Gallery and Gallery Programs Coordinator with various administrative and organizational skills and assist with installing and deinstallation of exhibits.

Job Description

Will learn to work with art materials by checking in orders; run errands; occasionally add data to spreadsheets. Help with administrative tasks. Work during Gallery Talks and Artist Receptions to assist the Director and Programs Coordinator.  Preference will be given to students who are proficient in Graphic Design, and familiar with art and design courses and knowledge of materials.

Job Location/ Hours Required

The candidate will perform most/all job duties in Sechrest Gallery and the Deal Gallery in the Hayworth Fine Arts Center. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. This position requires up to 10 hours per week.
