The Role We're hiring a hands-on Lead Engineer to lead our UI Platform team - the group responsible for building and maintaining the shared frontend infrastructure that powers every MarketAxess web application. This includes our data streaming technology, component libraries, developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and desktop integration capabilities. You'll play a key role in shaping and executing the platform roadmap, working closely with other engineering teams to support scalable, high-quality UI development across the firm. Strong architectural foundation, with practical experience designing and implementing cloud-native systems, event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka), and scalable frontend/backend platforms.
