WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Perform in-depth thermal analysis, design, and testing activities to develop chiller components, assemblies, and overall systems that fully satisfy A2L and F-Gas program and product specifications, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and performance. Develop, customize, and apply specialized engineering tools and software to conduct comprehensive thermal evaluations and simulations specific to chiller technologies. Lead the planning, design, and execution of meticulous test programs, including the setup of test parameters, monitoring of results, and iterative optimization to validate design integrity and functionality within cooling systems. Prepare, review, and deliver detailed thermal technical documentation, reports and communications that are accurate, aligned with industry standards, and clearly convey findings to engineering teams and stakeholders. Implement Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance processes, improve quality, and optimize resources throughout the chiller design and testing lifecycle. Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate thermal design insights into end-to-end chiller product development. Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends related to thermal management in chillers, recommending innovative solutions and tool enhancements to maintain technical leadership. Become leader of the gas refrigeration sector and liaise with all other members of staff YOU HAVE: University's degree (preferred) in Thermal or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. At least 5 years of related experience in HVAC/refrigeration sector and demonstrated technical expertise in experimental testing protocols, and processing large and complex data sets relevant to thermal systems performance evaluation. Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English (at least B2) to facilitate communication within multinational teams and documentation. Proven experience specifically in thermal design and development of chiller or related HVAC systems and knowledge of electrical schematics and components. Advanced technical competence in fluid flow and experimental testing methodologies tailored to thermal system optimization. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, characterized by a clear, methodical approach to problem-solving and fixing thermal performance issues. Capacity to function autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability in managing multiple design and testing projects. Effective program management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform in-depth thermal analysis, design, and testing activities to develop chiller components, assemblies, and overall systems that fully satisfy A2L and F-Gas program and product specifications, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Develop, customize, and apply specialized engineering tools and software to conduct comprehensive thermal evaluations and simulations specific to chiller technologies.
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of meticulous test programs, including the setup of test parameters, monitoring of results, and iterative optimization to validate design integrity and functionality within cooling systems.
  • Prepare, review, and deliver detailed thermal technical documentation, reports and communications that are accurate, aligned with industry standards, and clearly convey findings to engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance processes, improve quality, and optimize resources throughout the chiller design and testing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate thermal design insights into end-to-end chiller product development.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends related to thermal management in chillers, recommending innovative solutions and tool enhancements to maintain technical leadership.
  • Become leader of the gas refrigeration sector and liaise with all other members of staff

YOU HAVE:

  • University's degree (preferred) in Thermal or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in HVAC/refrigeration sector and demonstrated technical expertise in experimental testing protocols, and processing large and complex data sets relevant to thermal systems performance evaluation.
  • Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English (at least B2) to facilitate communication within multinational teams and documentation.
  • Proven experience specifically in thermal design and development of chiller or related HVAC systems and knowledge of electrical schematics and components.
  • Advanced technical competence in fluid flow and experimental testing methodologies tailored to thermal system optimization.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, characterized by a clear, methodical approach to problem-solving and fixing thermal performance issues.
  • Capacity to function autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability in managing multiple design and testing projects.
  • Effective program management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and interpersonal skills conducive to growing in a global team environment, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
