Demonstrated analytical skills in problem-solving, data interpretation, and process optimization to drive continuous improvement and achieve operational excellence. Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word for documentation, Excel for data analysis and reporting, PowerPoint for professional presentations, and web-based systems for workflow management and collaboration. Basic Job Function

  • Responsible for providing support to engineering department to ensure successful completion of park projects on time and on budget.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and organizing engineering documents (blueprints, specifications, soils reports, surveys, record drawings, etc.) hard copy and electronic.
  • Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.

Principle Duties

  • Performs light drafting with new and existing documents.
  • Maintains engineering documents and records; organize, scan, file, and archive.
  • Project coordination, project closeout, permit coordination support.
  • Light drafting work including updating of utility drawings and drafting to support park projects.
  • SAP building assignment for projects.
  • Maintains safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Knowledge, Education and Training

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit and able to produce single dimensioned layouts, including ability to incorporate updates to existing documents.
  • Must have light accounting knowledge related to tracking budgets and spreadsheets.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have and maintain a valid California driver's license; visiting students and military must have a valid driver's license from state of residency and able to provide a copy of the DMV report.
  • Must be able to meet requirements to drive SeaWorld vehicles.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.
  • Pursuing engineering, architectural, project management, or construction related degree strongly preferred.
  • Resume required.

Compensation: 21.00 USD per hour
