Job Description
Make an Impact Where it Matters MostAt Intelliforce, you build mission support systems that teams rely on every day. In this role, you will streamline how users request help and how the organization delivers it. You will turn scattered service desks into one clean, unified customer experience.
Schedule and Work DetailsLocation: NBP 135Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shiftTelework: Up to 16 hours per weekClearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). We do not sponsor clearances.Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
Here’s What Your Day to Day Might Include• Consolidate multiple Jira Service Desk instances into one unified service portal.• Design workflows, forms, queues, SLAs, and automations that improve response and routing.• Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements and map current processes.• Integrate Jira Service Desk with APIs and scripts to reduce manual steps.• Document configurations, standards, and operating procedures in Confluence.• Support Linux based environments tied to the HPC mission.
Minimum QualificationsClearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Education and Experience• Twenty years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.• Five years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
Required Skills• Linux CLI and Linux tools experience.• Extensive Jira Service Desk configuration, administration, and customization experience.• UI and UX design and development experience using relevant tools and frameworks.• API integration and scripting experience using Bash and Python.• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail.• Atlassian tool suite experience, Jira and Confluence.
Desired SkillsAgile software development or project delivery experience.Git source control experience.
Tech StackLinux, Jira Service Desk, Jira, Confluence, UI and UX design tools, REST APIs, Bash, Python, Git.
Compensation Range: $194,000.00 - $250,000.00
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
