Job Summary: As a Data Center Field Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing Bitcoin mining sites and supporting ACS operations teams. Compensation: Base Compensation: Employees will earn a standard rate of $19 per hour.  Field Day Jobs: For days when employees are required to work out in the field, they will receive their base hourly pay in addition to a $50 bonus for the day. Traveling to Sites: On days that require travel to a specific site, employees are compensated with their base hourly pay plus an additional $100 bonus for the day. Key Responsibilities: Perform cleaning of mining equipment Perform inspections of mining equipment Assembly and disassembly Heavy lifting of miners (over 45 lbs for up to 8 hours) Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks on Bitcoin miners and associated equipment. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions, using diagnostic tools and software. Provide hands-on, technical support at client sites, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and within expected performance parameters. Offer detailed and clear guidance and training to customers on equipment maintenance and operation. Document processes, submit service and expense reports, and provide comprehensive feedback to the technical team. Comply with all company policies and regulations, maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards. Work closely with the customer service team to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of customer issues. Stay abreast of the latest developments in cryptocurrency mining technology and continuously improve technical skills. Qualifications: Field service experience, preferably in electronics, computer hardware, or similar technical fields. Familiarity with mobile tools and applications for field service tasks. Some experience with working on bitcoin miners would be a plus. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively in high-pressure situations. Ability to work flexible hours and travel to client sites as needed. Passion for technology, with a keen interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sector. Need to be able to lift at least 40 lbs and perform physically challenging tasks.

The Job… Lead the design, development, and optimization of data ingestion pipelines, ensuring timely, scalable, and reliable data flows into the enterprise data warehouse (Snowflake). Job Summary:

As a Data Center Field Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing Bitcoin mining sites and supporting ACS operations teams. This position requires a blend of technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent customer service to manage on-site repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance activities. The role includes warehouse responsibilities during off-field periods. Hardworking individuals will find opportunities for career advancement.

This is a 6 month apprenticeship that begins with warehouse training. Eligible for review and pay raises at 30, 90, and 180 days. 

This job requires traveling to various data center locations, anywhere from one day up to one or two weeks (in rare instances).

Compensation:

Base Compensation: Employees will earn a standard rate of $19 per hour. 

Field Day Jobs: For days when employees are required to work out in the field, they will receive their base hourly pay in addition to a $50 bonus for the day.

Traveling to Sites: On days that require travel to a specific site, employees are compensated with their base hourly pay plus an additional $100 bonus for the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning of mining equipment
  • Perform inspections of mining equipment
  • Assembly and disassembly
  • Heavy lifting of miners (over 45 lbs for up to 8 hours)
  • Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks on Bitcoin miners and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions, using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Provide hands-on, technical support at client sites, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and within expected performance parameters.
  • Offer detailed and clear guidance and training to customers on equipment maintenance and operation.
  • Document processes, submit service and expense reports, and provide comprehensive feedback to the technical team.
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations, maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of customer issues.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in cryptocurrency mining technology and continuously improve technical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Field service experience, preferably in electronics, computer hardware, or similar technical fields.
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications for field service tasks.
  • Some experience with working on bitcoin miners would be a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to client sites as needed.
  • Passion for technology, with a keen interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sector.
  • Need to be able to lift at least 40 lbs and perform physically challenging tasks.
