R ole Overview As a CoStar Sales Coach , you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and effectiveness of our sales team. This role focuses on empowering sales professionals by coaching them on sales strategies, techniques, and best practices to drive success. Basic Qualifications At least one year of successful sales experience at CoStar or 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience . Position Summary: The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to clinical, financial, and revenue cycle operations. This role supports the organization by developing dashboards, performing financial modeling, and providing actionable insights that improve cash flow, reduce denials, and inform strategic decisions. The analyst will work with large datasets from EMR, billing, and accounting systems using SQL and BI tools, and will collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to streamline data flows and enhance reporting accuracy. This position plays a key role in supporting leadership through data-driven analysis and clear, actionable reporting. Job Duties & Essential Functions: Analyze and optimize revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, denials, and payer trends. Build and maintain dashboards and reports in QuickSight to monitor KPIs across clinical, billing, and financial operations. Perform financial modeling and forecasting to support strategic decisions, budgeting, and cost analysis. Use SQL and data transformation tools to extract and manipulate large datasets from EMR (iMedicWare), billing, and accounting systems. Identify anomalies in claim processing and reimbursement patterns; provide actionable insights to improve cash flow and reduce denials. Partner with operations, clinical, and IT teams to streamline data flows and improve reporting accuracy. Provide ad hoc analysis for senior leadership to support payer contracting, pricing decisions, and margin improvement initiatives. Translate complex data into clear visualizations and presentations for non-technical stakeholders. Proactively work with the RCM team to identify areas for improvement and additional reporting needs to drive efficiency in cash collections. R equired Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, Health Information Management, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, financial analysis, or revenue cycle operations. Functional knowledge of revenue cycle processes, performance trends, and payer reimbursement models. Proficiency in MySQL. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with budgeting tools is a plus. Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, or Looker. Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfaces, operating platforms and network software, clinical workflows, and revenue cycle terminology. Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and explain complex findings clearly. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Role Overview 

As a CoStar Sales Coach, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and effectiveness of our sales team. This role focuses on empowering sales professionals by coaching them on sales strategies, techniques, and best practices to drive success. You will provide actionable feedback and support to help sales representatives refine their approach, improve their performance, and achieve their targets.  Additionally, you will work collaboratively with the Sales Training team to develop impactful coaching programs tailored to the needs of the sales organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide one-on-one and group coaching to sales representatives to enhance their sales techniques, including prospecting, phone skills, and appointment-setting. 

  • Observe sales calls and meetings to identify strengths and areas for improvement; deliver actionable feedback to drive performance. 

  • Develop and deliver coaching sessions focused on effective selling strategies, objection handling, and closing techniques. 

  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify skill gaps and develop individualized coaching plans for team members. 

  • Serve as a resource for sales professionals, offering guidance and support to help them achieve their sales goals. 

  • Assist in onboarding new hires by coaching them on effective sales strategies and techniques. 

  • Partner with the Sales Learning & Development team to design and implement coaching programs aligned with business objectives. 

  • Monitor progress and measure the impact of coaching efforts; adjust strategies based on results and feedback. 

  • Stay updated on CoStar’s product offerings, industry trends, and sales methodologies to ensure coaching remains relevant and impactful. 

 

Basic Qualifications 

  • At least one year of successful sales experience at CoStar or 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited not-for-profit University or College  

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets. 

  • Demonstration of commitment to prior employers 

  • Experienced in client management and post-sale support.
