Qualified data scientists in this role regularly participate in design reviews and productization for major product features and bug fixes, and are experienced and comfortable working with Linux-based operating systems. The ideal candidate will be a highly collaborative individual with a passion for working on complex projects in an open organization where contributions are valued and expected from all levels. This job role will require engaging in upstream open source communities. As this is a fast-moving area of opportunity for Red Hat, the ability to communicate productively and effectively with team members, stakeholders, and Red Hat leadership is critical. POSITION SUMMARY: World Relief Chicagoland Adult Education serves adult students at every stage of their language learning journey, including career specific language classes, job readiness for first-time employed, leveled general English classes, and literacy and schooling support. The role of the Assessment & Data Entry Technician is to monitor, coordinate, and conduct English level pre-and post-tests, input score reports into relevant databases, and document student case notes, as relevant. Other duties involved in the role include supporting the enrollment & intake process, case noting, and working with the Enrollment & Assessment and Student Support Services team to provide support. This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until September 30, 2026 and contingent upon funding extension. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assessment (70 % of time) Assist Student Support Services team during registration by providing testing, data entry, and intake completion support Provide remote and in-person placement tests to new students Provide remote and in-person post-tests for completing and continuing students Ability to provide new student assessments and intake completion support in-person across the region Coordinate and facilitate all post-testing across region for in-person and remote classes, including remote night classes. JOB DUTIES:

  • Brainstorm and strategize with owner on different data center land acquisitions strategies.
  • Educate owner on data center site selection/land acquisition criteria, geographic demand and data center technical matters.
  • Communicate with existing data center industry relationships and network with industry professionals to gain real time information related to data center development.
  • Leveraging proven sourcing expertise, execute the company’s deal sourcing strategies for subject-to development projects.
  • Manage and execute direct marketing campaigns to commercial real estate owners and industry professionals
  • Leverage the firm’s CRM database (Salesforce) to efficiently connect with prospective sellers and/or deal partners
  • Manage existing and establish new relationships with commercial real estate owners and development consultants (i.e. civil engineers, land planners, land use attorneys, architects, etc.)
  • Aggressively pursue and source new data center development deals. Includes emailing, cold calling, and canvassing commercial real estate owners.
  • Complete other acquisitions or data center related tasks as they arise.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or greater
  • Since this is acquisition's role and outward facing, need to be willing to cold call and enjoy sales process.
  • Min 2 years of data center related experience
  • A basic understanding of land use/zoning fundamentals
  • Real estate sales license and brokerage license is a plus
  • Naturally curious, always looking to dig deeper and find answers
  • Strong networking and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with real estate owners and industry professionals
  • Sophisticated and genuinely passionate about the deal-sourcing process

 

HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Existing relationships with data center industry to be able to obtain accurate information
  • At least 1 year of directly sourcing deals
  • Ability to think creatively, propose ideas, and research them to prove their viability
  • Experience sourcing and evaluating deals
  • Experience executing outreach campaigns to real estate owners/and or commercial real estate industry professionals
