The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing data engineering solutions on the AWS platform. The primary responsibility of this role is to architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines and analytics systems leveraging AWS services. Responsibilities: Design, architect, and implement end-to-end data engineering solutions on the AWS platform. Develop scalable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in alignment with industry standards and regulations. Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval mechanisms for performance and cost-efficiency. Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon EMR, etc. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing workflows to ensure high availability and reliability. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics. Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role with a focus on AWS technologies. In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, etc. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java. Hands-on experience with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, etc. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
