Travelers Data Engineering team constructs pipelines that contextualize and provide easy access to data by the entire enterprise. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in growing and transforming our analytics landscape. In addition to your strong analytical mind, you will bring your inquisitive attitude and ability to translate the stories found in data. You will leverage your ability for the team members supporting Enterprise Underwriting, they will be helping to reinvent global underwriting analytics at Travelers. Build and operationalize complex data solutions, correct problems, apply transformations, and recommend data cleansing/quality solutions. Design data solutions. What You'll Do

As a Data Center Intern, you’ll support live projects with hands-on installation and project coordination responsibilities, including: 

  • Assist with equipment installation and low-voltage systems troubleshooting
  • Perform site assessments with project managers to define system requirements
  • Maintain accurate records using advanced Excel skills
  • Support documentation, task tracking, and project reporting
  • Contribute to creative problem-solving and efficiency improvements in white space fit-outs 

Who You Are

  • A current college student pursuing a degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on and troubleshooting skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent follow-up and communication abilities
  • Comfortable working in a physical data center/construction environment
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule onsite for Memphis projects, including overtime
  • Experience with low-voltage installation or similar work is a plus
