Job Description

We're on the lookout for a creative, highly motivated, results-oriented Director to lead our Retail Brand Marketing team in helping drive and define the Warby Parker brand. In this role, you'll use your strategic prowess and creative vision to enhance brand awareness and drive new customer growth for Retail. You'll be responsible for overseeing a team and leading the strategic development, planning, and execution of integrated marketing programs and campaigns. Your focus will be on retail expansion, driving brand awareness and growth strategies in our top markets, and increasing eye exam growth. With each project, you'll play a key role in Warby Parker's success in transforming the eyewear industry while also demonstrating that for-profit companies can do good in the world.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee Retail and eye exam marketing efforts for over 250+ retail locations to drive traffic and awareness of our stores and vision services offerings
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that support the growth of all retail markets, with a keen focus on top CBSAs in partnership with the Growth team
  • Develop strategies to enhance awareness of our eye exam offerings among both new and existing customers, driving growth in this key business segment. This will involve collaborating cross-functionally with the Tech and Growth teams to refine our eye exam experience while equipping our ODs and store teams with community tools and resources to maximize impact.
  • Manage all Retail asset needs-streamlining asks on all in store signage, printed retail collateral, marketing assets, and store photography
  • Oversee the Retail Brand Marketing team that will support the development and execution of all new store openings, retail signage, and local marketing efforts
  • Assist in the creation of a long-term strategic marketing framework for the brand
  • Be a "keeper of the brand" and constantly work to clarify, articulate, and execute creative marketing programs that embody Warby Parker's unique qualities
  • Optimize processes to ensure on-strategy programs are executed on time and on budget
  • Manage the budgets associated with all projects/areas you are leading
  • Juggle multiple critical, time-sensitive, and high-visibility projects within the Brand team
  • Serve as a constant source of creative ideas, tapping into culturally salient moments and identifying tastemakers that reflect our brand pillars and values
  • Help shape a long-term strategic marketing framework that drives the brand's evolution, establishes clear business and brand objectives, and ensure measurable results
