Job Description

We are a dynamic real estate development company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Design Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in architecture who is interested in understanding the built environment from both a design and development perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of design documentation using Autodesk and Adobe programs.
  • Travel to construction job sites to photograph and document construction progress (mileage reimbursed).
  • Support the team with document organization, bookkeeping tasks, and submitting consultant invoice payment requests.
  • Help incorporate schematic designs, code requirements, material selections, and spatial limitations into detailing and documentation.
  • Assist with contract administration tasks such as:
  • Reviewing shop drawings and submittals
  • Developing supplementary construction drawings

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Architecture or related program.
  • Familiarity with other Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite tools preferred; Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for job site visits.
