Job Description
Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Junior Civil Engineer
Overview:
Launch your engineering career in a high-energy, growth-focused environment with a well-established municipal water/wastewater design firm. Based in Atlanta, GA—right across from Truist Park (home of the Atlanta Braves)—this role offers mentorship, challenging projects, and a vibrant office culture. You’ll contribute to residential and commercial projects while working alongside experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare detailed engineering and design documents
- Provide CAD support to design staff
- Assist in preparing construction documents, including:
- Site layout and design
- Utility design
- Grading and drainage
- Stormwater systems
- Erosion and sediment control plans
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on site design, utility coordination, and stormwater management
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Experience:
- 0–5 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Other:
- EIT Certification is a major plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
