Job Description

Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Paralegal (Estate & Trust Administration)

Overview:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their estate and trust administration team in Naples, FL. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting high-net-worth estate matters, with a focus on Florida probate, trust settlement, and federal transfer tax filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage estate and trust administration from asset collection to final distributions
  • Prepare inventories, schedules, and accountings using data from multiple sources
  • Draft probate pleadings and fiduciary documents for review and e-filing
  • Assist in preparing estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns (Form 706, 709, 1041)
  • Coordinate deadlines, monitor case schedules, and support attorneys proactively
  • Maintain clear client communication and act as a liaison between attorneys and families
  • Use legal and tax software platforms to streamline filings and documentation
  • Edit and proofread all work for accuracy and compliance with Florida and federal law

Requirements:
Education:

  • Paralegal certificate, associate’s degree, or equivalent formal legal training
  • Preferred: Four-year degree in legal studies or related field

Experience:

  • At least 5 years in Florida estate and trust administration
  • Hands-on experience preparing or assisting with federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns (Form 706, 709, 1041)
  • Strong knowledge of Florida probate procedures and e-filing systems
  • Preferred: Experience with trust/estate tax software platforms and high-net-worth estate accounting

Other:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional writing, organization, and client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters with high attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year (based on experience)
  • Benefits: Competitive package (details available upon discussion)
