Job Description
Responsible for mine surveying and mapping associated with mine production, planning, permitting and reclamation.
Perform basic engineering calculations and recording of mine data.
Occasionally travel underground and on surface with survey crews.
Update mine maps for ventilation and production
Proficiency with AutoCad/Survcad, Word and the capability of developing spreadsheets in Excel
Associate Degree Surveying/Mapping/Civil Engr or Technology, or equivalent work experience required. A good working knowledge of the State and MSHA regulations is desirable.
