- PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution projects from order intake through shipment and delivery. This role serves as the single point of contact for internal coordination and customer communication, ensuring that project scope, timelines, costs, and quality expectations are met. The Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, sales, design, engineering, production, and logistics to manage deliverables and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

This role serves as the single point of contact for internal coordination and customer communication, ensuring that project scope, timelines, costs, and quality expectations are met. The Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, sales, design, engineering, production, and logistics to manage deliverables and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the project lifecycle – initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects per company standards.
• Review orders and initiate internal kickoff meetings to align scope and deliverables.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure timely completion and submission of shop drawings and other specified submittals for customer approval.
• Act as the liaison between internal teams and the customer during design approval iterations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, updating key milestones and ensuring dependencies are aligned.
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans and maintain a project risk register.
• Track scope changes, manage RFIs and change orders, and communicate impacts to all
stakeholders.
• Work with procurement and production teams to plan resource allocation and fabrication
timelines.
• Ensure timely communication with customers, maintaining transparency and responsiveness.
• Conduct project reviews, maintain documentation, and prepare regular status reports for internal leadership.
• Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and templates.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing,
construction, or industrial sectors.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and Smartsheet.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle, risk management, and scheduling techniques.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP certification
• Experience working with engineered products or custom fabrication.
• Familiarity with utility plans, ERP systems, and manufacturing workflows.
• Knowledge of AWWA, ASTM, or similar industry standards is a plus.
