Job Description
The Data coordinator oversees and maintains database systems and records across a range of applications and data sources for our firm. In this job, your duties are to perform data entry, organize information, create tests to optimize databases, and analyze data usage by other members of the organization. The Data Coordinator is responsible for various internal data sets including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Data Asset Management (DAM) systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This is a hybrid position that could be located in either our Chicago or Boston studio.
DUTIES:
- Update data records, resolve data conflicts, generate reports, monitor data changes on a weekly basis.
- Develop and maintain various data management systems.
- Generate reports for stakeholders on a regular basis. Work with key Operational Groups to ensure all data is collected and is verifiable.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend changes to systems and processes related to the collection, reporting, and dissemination of information.
- Provide quality assurance by analyzing and verifying data entered into the firm's database systems.
- Plan and oversee archiving of records.
- Conduct regular audits of internal systems to ensure the integrity of the data. Work with cross-functional teams to resolve data conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and that best business practice is followed with regards to use and maintenance of data stored.
- Research and process data change requests and follow up with users as necessary.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- 1-3+ years of experience in an end-user support role.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Some knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Some knowledge of Querying tools and methods
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Proven customer service orientation combined with the ability to work well with others.
- Excellent business analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Quick, analytical thinker.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.
Salary Range Information

At the time of posting this job advertisement, commensurate with qualifications, the annual pay salary range for this position in Chicago is between $61,600 and $78,500.
