As a Product Engineer supporting ArcGIS Pro on the Sharing team, you’ll help develop software capabilities that empower users to transform data into web items, enabling them to share content that is accessible from anywhere. Your contributions will have a significant impact on various products across the platform, such as ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. You will play a vital role in designing and testing cutting-edge features that facilitate the sharing of GIS data from desktop to mobile apps and beyond.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse group of engineers and developers to expand the power of web GIS
- Envision, design, and test innovative capabilities that enhance the sharing of GIS data
- Develop automated tests that ensure the quality and functionality of the software
- Play a major part in the development process by determining product quality and release readiness
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web GIS development
Requirements
- 2+ years of software testing experience using C#, Java, and/or C++
- Excellent problem-solving, design, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, GIS, geography, or a related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Knowledge of the ArcGIS platform or other GIS products
- Experience with web formats and technologies, such as JSON, REST, or JavaScript
- Knowledge of relational database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Master’s in computer science, engineering, GIS, geography, or a related field
