Job Description
Talent Acquisition Partner
Location: On-Site, Scottsdale, AZ
About the Role
We're looking for a driven and strategic Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing team at Curaleaf. In this role, you'll play a hands-on part in shaping the future of our workforce by managing full-cycle recruiting for high-volume, entry-to-senior-level roles across retail and operations. You'll also collaborate on senior-level searches and broader talent initiatives alongside our Talent Acquisition leadership.
This is more than just filling roles - it's about building strong pipelines, creating an excellent candidate experience, and acting as a trusted partner to hiring managers across the organization. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems, and have a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process for a high volume of roles across retail and operations - from requisition creation and sourcing to interviewing, offer negotiation, and pre-onboarding support.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand talent needs and build customized hiring strategies that align with business goals.
- Actively source candidates through job boards, social media, ATS tools, referrals, and networking events.
- Collaborate with Senior TA Partners on leadership-level searches and strategic hiring projects.
- Ensure every candidate has a top-tier experience through clear communication and well-coordinated interviews.
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and quality of hire.
- Extend offers and support transitions into onboarding by coordinating with HR and hiring managers.
- Champion DEI by developing inclusive job descriptions, outreach efforts, and equitable interview processes.
- Keep our ATS (we use Greenhouse) up to date with accurate records and notes.
- Support interview scheduling and drive timely hiring decisions through feedback loops with hiring teams.
- Identify and help close staffing gaps with creative, scalable solutions.
- Coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices, compliance, and candidate experience.
- Represent Curaleaf at job fairs, hiring events, and in-person training sessions.
- Keep a pulse on labor market trends, recruiting tools, and industry benchmarks-especially within cannabis.
- Travel up to 25% to support in-person hiring initiatives across our footprint.
- Jump in on other TA projects as needed-we're a team that supports one another.
What You'll Bring:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-volume, multi-site environments such as retail, manufacturing, or operations.
- At least 1 year of experience recruiting across multiple time zones, with strong calendar management and communication coordination skills.
- Proven ability to recruit for both hourly and salaried positions, with experience partnering across various organizational levels and departments.
- Proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with a strong preference for Greenhouse or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of sourcing channels and tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, social media, and internal referral programs.
- Ability to track, interpret, and report on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline performance, and DEI indicators.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain credibility with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
- Proven track record of managing multiple requisitions with accuracy, efficiency, and a focus on candidate experience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A high level of discretion and professionalism, especially when handling confidential candidate and company information.
- A genuine commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment strategy and candidate evaluation.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to support hiring events, site visits, and in-person engagement initiatives.
- Familiarity with employment regulations and compliance standards (e.g., EEOC, OFCCP), with a willingness to learn cannabis industry-specific requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort navigating digital tools and systems to manage hiring processes.
Even Better If:
- You have Greenhouse experience
