Compensation
The compensation target range for this role is:
$59,500 - $70,000
Job Summary
The role of the Retail Operations Inventory Specialist is to ensure each owned retail location has the correct quantity of inventory to drive sales and prevent stock out situations, and that this inventory is accounted for correctly. The Retail Operations Inventory Specialist works closely with cross functional partners and field leadership to not only resolve issues but to creatively reduce issues overall.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities for this role are:
Ensure weekly transfer orders for inventory replenishment for showrooms are placed, and correct transfer order, receiving, and shipment errors. Place transfer orders for display merchandise.
Manage and maintain proper inventory levels in all store locations including factory second, discontinued, and refurbished merchandise at outlet locations.
Work with Field Leaders to resolve any quality issues with showroom floor model or display inventory.
Manage end-of-life and out of stock processes and procedures for retail showrooms.
Provide needed reporting to allow outlet managers, and work with them to responsibly manage inventory.
Manage the Retail Inventory Jira ticket queue and Retail Inventory email inbox.
Assist Sr. Retail Ops Manager with developing and implementing inventory and order management processes.
Ensure min/max levels for showroom inventory in NetSuite are maintained and adjusted as needed.
Correct customer order entry errors and keep field leaders informed of any areas of concern.
Conduct and review regular physical inventory counts and work with field leaders to correct errors.
Perform period end inventory processes in partnership with the customer care and accounting teams.
Assist with training showroom staff on proper inventory and order processes and ensure compliance across the showroom fleet.
Assist in developing and executing process and procedures to ensure effective showroom operations.
Seek opportunities for ongoing process improvement and suggest innovative ideas and programs.
Other duties or special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an energetic and meticulous person with the following skills to join our team.
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or related retail equivalent work experience.
3 or more years' retail experience with focus on store operations or inventory management in a multi-store or business corporate environment.
Ability to organize and prioritize work; have strong follow-up skills, an ability to work independently, and have effective organizational skills for managing multiple tasks at once.
Detail oriented, initiative-taker and eager to learn.
Ability to interact and engage cross-functional teams.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate must have a high degree of flexibility and a history of quickly adapting to an ever-changing environment.
Candidate must display a positive, can-do attitude and must be an active team player.
Project management is a passion; you love details and ensuring milestones are met.
Proficient in NetSuite, Outlook, Word, and Excel; POS knowledge is a plus.
Availability to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays, with minimal travel.
