Job Description

The ideal candidate will be in the Twin Cities Metro area with the ability to work onsite as needed at the Bloomington Q-Central office. Remote work may be an option for candidates in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Nevada, and outside the Twin Cities Metro area in Minnesota. Please note, relocation assistance is not provided.

About the Role

As a National Accounts Sales Representative II (NASR II), you'll be a strategic partner to some of QBP's largest and most influential retail partners. This is more than a sales role, it's a business development opportunity where your insight, relationship-building skills, and industry knowledge will directly contribute to mutual growth and long-term success.

You'll manage a portfolio of high-impact, nationally recognized retail accounts. Your mission: to exceed sales and profitability goals by delivering tailored solutions that support each retailer's unique needs. From driving product adoption to solving complex channel challenges, you'll be a key player in helping both QBP and our partners succeed.

What You'll Be Accountable For

  • Account Strategy & Growth [40%]
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value national retail accounts.
  • Develop deep understanding of retailer business models, needs, and challenges.
  • Meet and exceed annual sales and profitability targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with QBP strategy.
  • Consultative Selling & Business Development [40%]
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing data-driven insights and market expertise.
  • Guide retailers through brand placement, channel strategy, and vendor compliance.
  • Offer creative, mutually beneficial solutions-not just products.
  • Relationship & Collaboration [10%]
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at the head-office level.
  • Lead joint strategic planning sessions to define shared goals and milestones.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver seamless support and execution.
  • Team & Culture Contribution [10%]
  • Engage weekly with the National Accounts team for strategy development and peer learning.
  • Contribute to QBP's inclusive and collaborative culture by living our core values and sharing best practices.

What You Bring

  • 2-4 years in sales, account management, or territory sales
  • Experience managing large/key accounts at a corporate or national level (preferred)
  • Proficiency in needs-based sales methodology
  • Strong interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence and self-awareness
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and active listening)
  • Negotiation skills with an empathetic, solution-focused approach
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and highly self-motivated
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working cross-functionally
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal tools quickly

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 4-8 weeks per year
  • Valid driver's license and successful driving background check
  • Willingness to attend key events (Sea Otter, Frostbike, regional and partner events)
  • Comfortable with extensive computer and phone use
  • Subject to background checks (criminal, drug screening, and possibly credit or driving records)
