Weaver Consultants Group has an opening for an intermediate-level environmental remediation professional to become an integral member of our team and support our nationwide remediation practice who will thrive in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. Weaver offers an environment conducive to personal and professional growth, rapid skill development and advancement opportunity, and the ability to participate in the entire life cycle of large, complex, and long-term legacy projects. This role focuses on supporting and implementing remediation projects, including large Brownfield redevelopments, former DoD and contractor facilities, and contaminated industrial manufacturing projects across the US.

The position is salaried with significant bonus opportunity and flexible work hours targeting 45 hours per week (occasionally 50 hours), while working approximately 25-50% in the field. The position will require out-of-town travel at an average rate of one week a month primarily from May to October. This candidate must also demonstrate efficiency and competency working well in an independent / telecommuting environment. Additional benefits, based on performance, include option to become a member-employee, above average PTO, remote work, and flexible work schedules.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of environmental consulting experience. The successful candidate will be self-motivated as well as detail and career-oriented with a good understanding of chemistry/geology/engineering, have previous experience in environmental sampling (soil, groundwater, vapor), environmental site assessments/cleanup programs, and associated data analysis; technical writing and reporting; and environmental engineering. Individuals must have the drive to increase their knowledge base and technical skills on complex, multi-discipline subjects.

Some experience with remediation technologies, remedial selection/design/implementation and oversight, and remedial performance data collection and/or analysis ideal but not necessary. The candidate will be mentored by a talented and innovative team to become an industry-leading environmental remediation professional.

The position has significant growth potential as the selected candidate will work directly with and be mentored by nationally recognized environmental remediation engineers, scientists, and geologists supporting in-situ chlorinated hydrocarbon remediation projects for large Brownfield redevelopment and industrial manufacturing companies across the US.
