As a Diagnostic Xray Team Leader, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.

Job Overview:

As a Rad Tech, you would be responsible for supervising and performing diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy; including performing radiographic procedures in the ER, Surgical Suite, Nursing Units, Main Department, and Ancillary Departments. Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the Diagnostic and Fluoroscopy areas of the Radiology Department.
  • Ensure that Diagnostic staff adequately follows performance guidelines as listed in the P&P.
  • Coordinates the hiring and training of new employees and student aides
  • Coordinates and oversees the activities of the Diagnostic personnel.
  • Ensures adequate staffing.
  • Performs employee evaluations on time, monitors employee conduct, and provides disciplinary counseling as necessary. Performs Diagnostic and Fluoroscopy exams.
  • Acts as a liaison between staff, radiologists, and administrative staff.
  • Performs EMR and PACS functions as necessary.

Required Certifications/Licenses:

  • Degree from an accredited Medical Imaging program
  • 3 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist is preferred
  • Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the state in which you will practice
  • Certified by the ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist
