Job Description
The Clinical Staffing Coordinator assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of resident care through scheduling clinical staff according to resident and business needs in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Duties pertaining to the role include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining master schedule in Smartlinx system. Role will be required to updates schedules daily to reflect staffing needs and absences.
- Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage for the facility, this includes using the Smartlinx app for appropriate scheduling of current, active employees.
- Verifies payroll and manages PTO requests for clinical staff.
- Collaborates with physicians, consultants, community agencies, and institutions to improve quality of services and to resolve identified problems.
- Consults with Wellness Director daily about resident status, occupancy, budget, staffing, and other relevant issues.
- Will be required to work the floor as a caregiver as needed to assist in resident care.
