Description

What You'll Do:

This position will primarily be responsible for following a strict procedure for answering phone calls from our policy holders and funeral homes, and some data entry on new life insurance claims. This is an entry level position with a Monday - Friday business hours schedule. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, PTO, Employee Discounts, and more.

  • Inbound & outbound calls from Funeral Homes, Policyholders and Beneficiaries
  • Analyzing contracts for monetary discrepancies
  • Processing life insurance claims
  • Provide excellent customer service on phone and through email
  • Other special projects as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Basic computer operation skills
  • Ability to type 35 wpm
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and with a team when needed
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times, and engage in repetitive movements

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience of 1-2 years preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
