Position Overview:
The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in driving business decisions and process improvements by leveraging data to deliver strategic insights. Reporting directly to the VP of Technology, this position requires strong analytical expertise, technical proficiency, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and has a proven track record of working with complex datasets to uncover actionable insights that improve operational performance, product delivery, and cross-departmental collaboration.
This is a full-time employment opportunity working in our Headquarters office in Boca Raton, FL.
Requirements
Qualifications:
The following qualifications and responsibilities serve as a position overview and are not exhaustive. Employees are expected to be team players and may take on additional tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role, preferably within financial services or real estate.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and database design, with hands-on experience writing complex queries for reporting and analysis.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with at least one major Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); Tableau preferred.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Python skills, including use of data libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with Jupyter Notebook or JupyterLab for data analysis and documentation.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and best practices in managing structured and unstructured datasets.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to organizational growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies and operational decisions.
- Build and maintain robust data models, dashboards, and automated reporting tools to support key stakeholders across departments.
- Develop and optimize databases, data pipelines, and collection systems to enhance data quality, accessibility, and efficiency.
- Design and execute statistical analyses using advanced tools to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities, and forecast outcomes.
- Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and prioritize analytics initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Assist in the implementation, testing, and integration of new technologies, analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring adoption and understanding of reports, dashboards, and data tools.
- Commission and decommission data sets and manage user access and roles.
- Continuously identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities across the organization.
