Position Overview:

The VP of Delivery is responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams including the delivery review, loan delivery and collateral departments. The VP of Delivery manages the delivery lifecycle driving strategic initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution and operational excellence. This role is responsible for process improvement and focuses on analyzing and optimizing operations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end process of delivery, ensuring CCM standards are met.
  • Develop and implement delivery strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee multiple teams, including delivery review, loan delivery and collateral departments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to align delivery with CCM requirements.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure delivery performance, continuous improvement, and effectiveness of process change.
  • Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize team productivity.
  • Drive issue resolution and change management processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement within workflows and implement solutions such as automation, restructuring, or new methodologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present delivery performance reports and forecasts to executive leadership.
  • Remain updated on industry changes to implement compliance measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in loan delivery management, project management, or operations leadership; experience in the mortgage industry, preferred.
  • Experience in managing large teams, setting goals, and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Experience in leading process improvement initiatives; experience with agile methodologies and delivery frameworks, preferred.
  • Knowledge of loan delivery, investor review, post-closing quality control, and collateral review, preferred.
  • Knowledge of loan sale processes, investor requirements, and post-closing audits.
  • Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae delivery.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to successfully deliver complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Time management, flexibility, and prioritization skills to be successful in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance loan delivery timelines.
  • Skill in making informed judgment on loan delivery and collateral issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
