Alphanumeric is hiring an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to work in Lake Mary, FL with an environmental-friendly energy innovator focused on sustainability.
This role requires full eligibility to work in the USA. We do not offer work visa sponsorships for this position.
Conditions:
- Type of employment: W2 Contract (on-site)
- Duration: 5 months, potential for extension
- Work location: Lake Mary, FL
- Monday to Friday regular business hours (40h/week)
- Pay rate: 34.30$/hour
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A W2
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for designing electrical power distribution network for the auxiliary equipment of our Gas Turbine projects. Our voltage levels are primarily in the low-voltage side (600V and below) with the implementation of equipment such as MCCs, Panelboards, LV Transformers, DC Systems and Batteries.
- Perform calculations, sizing of equipment (i.e.: breakers, overload devices, etc.), sizing of cables/conduits/equipment spacing, illumination level calculations, maintaining bill of materials, and other design duties required by complexity ofproject.
- Support electrical equipment specification (Motor Controls Centers, Power Supplies, DC systems).
- Interface with other disciplines to validate and support power plant design.
- Support technical inquiries from customers, vendors and field personnel
- Use SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) for electrical equipment deliverables production.
