Job Summary:

InsuranceTPA.com is a fast-growing high tech organization. We are a health insurance company with approximately 7000 members. We have a full-time position open for a Customer Service Representative in our Health Claims department.

Responsibilities:

  • This position consists of inbound and outbound calls regarding medical policies with policyholders and healthcare providers.

  • Includes verifying and explaining health insurance benefits with different types of supplemental health plans and describing exclusions and non-covered treatment.

  • Providing status of claims, payments, and requested information

  • Miscellaneous clerical duties are required as part of the roles and responsibilities of this position.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills is a must.

  • Able to multi-task while taking inbound calls.

  • Must be able to operate on multiple computer screens in a fast paced environment.

  • Be able to meet metrics assigned to this position regarding abandonment rates, talk time and speed of answer for inbound calls.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

  • Health claims and prior customer service is preferred by not required.

  • Strong computer skills with a typing speed of 50+ WPM

  • Able to work with little supervision

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications is a plus
