POSITION PURPOSE:

To increase sales and profitability by developing relationships and leading sales activities in Food Service distribution, restaurants and other food establishments. Educate and train distributor sales representatives and manage distributor partnerships at all levels to successfully promote Agri Beef Co and our company brands of Snake River Farms, Double R Ranch, St. Helen's and Rancho El Oro.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement specific programs to drive volume and margin growth and brand recognition.
  • Effectively manage food service distribution network to deliver sales plan for territory.
  • Create demand for distributors, restaurants and hotels across the U.S. and internationally for unique branded specialty beef, commodity beef and pork products.
  • Work closely with Agri Beef Marketing to build presentation models that best market products, including menus, restaurant traffic building, syndicated data, advertising, and promotion.
  • Maintain and grow current account relationships, at all levels of partnerships
  • Attend and promote company products at food shows both inside, and outside, the U.S.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of sales plans and promotions; make changes as needed; analyze data to identify business trends.
  • Communicate regularly with accounts to negotiate prices, promotions, convey market information, perform business reviews and generate interest in products.
  • Up to 70% travel

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven success in account sales
  • Extensive background in beef sales preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • This position requires significant travel (up to 70%) and will require strenuous activity such as lifting/moving objects up to 50 pounds and standing for eight or more hours per day

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
