Job Description

We are currently seeking an HR Generalist based at our Global Headquarters in Champaign, IL. The HRG will report directly to the HR Manager and support performance management, compensation administration, employee relations, employment law interpretation, payroll support, leave management, workers' compensation, and safety.

Typical pay for this position is $55-65k annually. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected.

  • Compensation and Leave Administration

  • Payroll Support and Time Records
  • Help with New Hire Orientation

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Preferably hold a bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 5+ years generalist experience
  • Experience handling Multi-state and California employment law matters.
  • Able to effectively use spreadsheet, word-processing and database software - UKG and PayScale highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization; Able to present him/herself in a professional and courteous manner, serving the needs of all internal and external customers effectively.
  • Able to work independently while ensuring that his/her manager is kept informed of the status of HR related issues.
  • Good judgment in working with people, maintaining an appropriate balance of representing the company and its policies but also being an advocate for the employees and their well being.
