The Radisson Hotel La Crosse is looking for a Full Time AM Server to join our Three Rivers River View Restaurant & Bar team.

SHIFT NEEDED:

Full Time | AM Shifts: 32-40 Hours per Week | Day Varies

Position Summary

The role of the AM Server is to create 100% Guest Satisfaction by serving lounge customers in a prompt and efficient manner

  • Ensures proper set up of tables to in the lounge

  • Inspects linen, silver, china and other items prior to using them

  • Takes customer orders and provides suggestions for both beverage and food

  • Reports beverage orders to bartenders, ensure drinks are garnishes before serving

  • Coordinates service with other servers and Chef

  • Serves food and beverages to guests, refills beverages as needed

  • Removes dirty glasses, linens and dishes from lounge area

  • Responds to customer requests and complaints

  • Cleans lounge area during and after events

  • Adheres to legal and/or company policies and standards

  • Understands and follows the laws and guidelines for beverage service

  • Closes out the customer's bill applying cash and credit cards in accordance with established procedures

  • Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest.

REQUIREMENT/SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Two years of experience in similar position within an upscale environment is preferred

  • Basic skills in reading, writing, arithmetic

  • Must be at least 21 years old in order to serve alcohol

  • Must have excellent customer service skills

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to relate to all levels of guests and management

  • Must possess a strong team spirit

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 75 pounds occasionally

  • Ability to maneuver up to 150 pounds, occasionally, for short periods of time

  • Able to set up and take down tables, chairs, stages and other banquet meeting fixtures

  • Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs, occasionally

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, constantly
