Job Description

Job Title: MCom 320 - Adjunct - Teaching

Posting Close Date: June 24, 2025 at 12:00am (MDT)

Position Start Date: August 1, 2025

Required Degree: Masters degree in business or writing related field (MBA, MPA, Public Administration, Communications, Teaching).

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: 

  • 5 years experience with business communications or related field (MBA degree will replace experience requirement).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with preference for writing pedagogy.    

Duties/Expectations: 

  • Understanding of writing process, mechanics, and grammar
  • Demonstratable history of successful communication in business settings      
  • Skilled in using presentation/education technology          
  • Ability to navigate research databases       
  • Working understanding of using generative AI in the writing process           
  • Ability to provide timely, specific feedback to students  
  • Ability to counsel students about business processes
